Mango butter


Extracted from the pit of the fruit, it has emollient and anti-inflammatory properties, and helps combat free radicals and skin ageing. In addition to fatty acids, mango butter contains oleic alcohol, polyphenols, squalene and phytosterols; the latter possess anti-inflammatory properties able to improve the barrier function of the skin and microcirculation, inhibit skin ageing and protect from UV rays. The oleic alcohol performs emulsifying and emollient action, the squalene penetrates in the regeneration processes of the lipids in the corneal layer and the polyphenols act as anti-oxidants, combating free radicals and as a result preventing premature skin ageing.
